I have always dreamed of being a veterinarian and having my own practice one day. My wonderful husband, Jes Sanderlin, has helped make my dream come true. Jes will manage the practice, as he has run his lawncare business, Sanderlin’s Lawncare, for over 20 years. We have a four year old son, Sawyer, who is the center of our world. We also have a menagerie of pets: 13 dogs, 3 cats, chickens, and hermit crabs. Pets are our passion and we can’t wait to add your furbabies to our family!
I am a compassionate Veterinary Technician with over nineteen years of experience. I am dedicated to animal health, strengthening client relationships, and learning the latest techniques in veterinary medicine. My family finally settled in Grovetown, Georgia after spending time in Alaska, Texas, and Maryland. My husband teaches and we have two beautiful children, Matt, and Emma. My fur babies consist of two German Shepherd dogs, Atlas, and Max. My hobbies are baking, reading, and spending time with my family.
I have lived in Harlem for the last five years, but I have been a Columbia County resident my whole life. I found my way into veterinary medicine at 19 years old and have spent the last 17 growing in this amazing field. My favorite part of this job is the clients and their pets and the lasting relationships I get to develop with each one. I have been happily married for the last 14 years. Our family consist of two beautiful children, 1 dog named Echo, 2 cats named Hiro and Tink, 9 chickens, and 1 bunny. My son and daughter are truly the highlight of my life.
I had the pleasure of working with Dr Sanderlin at my previous job and I’m so grateful to be working for her at her own practice. When I am not working, you can find me in my garden!
I am known to all as Hunter B. I have been an animal lover and advocate since a young age. My goal each day is to help provide care and compassion to deserving creatures while comforting and educating owners in every way that I can. I grew up in McDuffie County and had the privilege of getting my first job in this field at the young age of 16, working with none other than Dr. Sanderlin herself. After working locally for several years, I branched out and expanded my experience by working under multiple amazing doctors. After commuting for 5 years, I decided it was time for a change and am blessed to be back in my local community working with the doctor who got my fire for this field burning. I am Mommy to three German Shepherds, four felines, twelve chickens, and two horses. I recently got engaged and I couldn’t be happier! My coworkers here at Sandlin’s Veterinary Hospital are my family and I can’t wait for your pets to be a part of our family too.
I started off in veterinary medicine as a part time veterinary technician in Montana in 2006 at a mixed large and small animal practice. I found I had a passion for people and their pets and have stayed in the field for 17 years. Through this I have gained experience in many different areas of veterinary medicine including reception, technician, and management. As a military family, I have lived many places until we finally put roots down in Georgia in 2013. Our family bought our forever home in Harlem in the spring of 2023 that we share with our three Golden Retrievers and three tiny Chihuahuas.
I grew up in West Texas, so the oil business is where I got my start in reception/clerical work. I was blessed to marry my husband of now 16 years while he was still in the military, which brought us here to Georgia. We have been residents of Columbia County for the past 11 years, where we have watched out two daughters grow up. After I was no longer needed as a stay-at-home mom, I got my first job in Augusta in 2015 at a cat only boarding facility. I was able to learn so much about feline health and behavior for those six years, which helped open the door to more opportunities. This is the second veterinary clinic I’ve been with, and I am overjoyed being able to be a part of this amazing team!
My name is Madison, some people call me Madi. I grew up in Waynesboro where my love for animals grew. I have grown up having multiple animals and have learned the importance of caring and loving our fur babies. I am currently in school earning an associate’s degree to become a licensed veterinary technician. My hobbies include fishing, reading, painting and caring for my 5 animals; 1 dog, 1 cat and 3 reptiles. I am grateful to be working at this wonderful clinic with an awesome staff.
